The challenge

Business teams were starting to build Copilot Studio agents and Power Platform apps with no controls over who could publish them or what data they could reach.

What I delivered

• Defined maker permissions and an environment strategy (default, development, production)
• Configured Power Platform connector DLP to block risky data flows
• Restricted agent access to approved, labelled knowledge sources
• Set up monitoring of AI interactions with Purview DSPM for AI
• Wrote a lightweight approval process so innovation continues safely

Outcome

Teams can build useful AI agents quickly, without leaking data or creating shadow IT.
